Careers

The Careers Portfolio is responsible for initiating and managing careers-related events and initiatives at the Melbourne Law School. This includes overseeing weekly seminars, corporate and government information sessions, expert panels, mock interviews and publications.

The Portfolio regularly liaises with law firms and professionals, who work within the corporate and public interest spheres. In addition, private sector co-opts frequently liaise with non-legal organisations, such as the Big 4 accounting firms and management consultancies. In addition, the Portfolio hosts two major networking nights in both semesters.

In essence, the Careers Portfolio works to provide students with information that informs them of potential career paths relevant to law, the avenue by which to attain their desired roles and how to best prepare themselves for the application process.
