*When repeating for multiple entries, we recommend that you use the subject code as you can fit more subjects into the heading. This is because there is a word limit on the thread subject.

Condition Guidelines

  • As New: Means that the book is in the state that it should have been in when it left the publisher. This is basically a book in 'mint' condition.
  • Fine: Essentially 'As New' but allowing for the normal effects of time on an unused book that has been protected. A fine book shows no damage.
  • Very Good: Describes a book that is worn but untorn. No highlighting.
  • Good: Describes the condition of an average used worn book that is complete. May contain a small amount of highlighting or notation.
  • Fair: Shows wear and tear but all the text pages are present. It may lack endpapers, half-title, and even the title page. Contains significant level of notation and highlighting.
  • Poor: Describes a book that has the complete text but is so damaged that it is only of interest to a buyer who seeks a reading copy. If the damage renders the text illegible then the book is not even poor.

PLEASE NOTE: It is recommended that you attach a photo of the books you are selling to the post.

Sold Books

When you have sold a book, please comment on your thread stating which book you have sold.

If you have sold ALL the books in your thread, please DELETE the thread.

  • HOWEVER, if you cannot do this, please change the subject of the thread to include **SOLD** in the title OR post in the comments section of the thread stating the books have been sold.
  • This can be done by editing the post and inserting it in the field titled "subject".

PLEASE NOTE: Only label your posts as sold when you have actually exchanged your book/s with another student. Please do not label posts as sold when you have only found a buyer for the book/s.

Search Function

If you're looking for books, the best way is through the search function! Click the 'search' button in the bar at the top of the screen.

Once you click 'search', enter in the subject code for the book you're looking for and tick 'display results as threads' as it will be easier to see the most recent posts.
