On Tuesday 18 September, the MULSS Careers team — together with the MLS Careers Faculty — will welcome outstanding barristers for an invigorating conversation about life as a barrister.
Confirmed barristers for this event thus far include:
• Eloise Dias, junior counsel for the Commonwealth in the Royal Commission into Misconduct in the Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services Industries
• Amanda Burnnard, specialising in criminal defence and regulatory inquests
The panel presents an excellent opportunity to learn about legal careers outside of the corporate and commercial firm spheres and to better understand the varied forms of work that the law has on offer. The panellist will invariably have excellent advice on the pathways available to becoming a barrister.
After the panel, there will also be an opportunity for informal networking with panellists and representatives (with wine and cheese of course).
Date: Tuesday, 18 September
Time: 6.30 PM
Place: Room 109, Melbourne Law School
