Melbourne Law School Art Competition
Presented by the Melbourne Law School, the Centre for Media and Communications Law, the Intellectual Property Research Institute of Australia, and the Melbourne University LSS and ILSS, the competition invites all current law students to submit artworks for an acquisitive exhibition in the Melbourne Law School.
The competition will be judged by a panel with wide-ranging artistic experience, and the winners will be announced at the official opening at 1-2pm on Thursday 12 August on Level 1 of the Law School. Following the opening, selected works will be on display for one week (12–19 August), which includes The University of Melbourne Open Day. The prize-winning works will be framed and form part of the Law School collection.
First Prize: $500 People’s Choice: $400
Entries are due by Monday 2 August at 5pm. All works must engage with the theme of "ENERGY" and must have been produced during 2009 or 2010
