The Annual Environment Lecture is aimed towards students and members of the legal community with an interest in law and the environment. In light of the Paris Agreement and the pressing international concern on the effects of global warming, this year's topic will focus on "climate change, refugees and international human rights – sustaining cultural heritage".
The Hon. Acting Justice Simon R. Molesworth AO, Land and Environment Court of NSW is the special guest lecturer for the evening.
Justice Molesworth is a world-renowned environment lawyer, who has worked extensively in sustainability and heritage law. A summary of his achievements are listed below:

Mr Robert Jamieson will be the Master of Ceremonies for the evening. Mr Jamieson is a partner and the practice head of Ashurst's environment team and practice leader of the firm's Asia-Pacific resources and utilities practice.
