Melbourne University Law Students' Society

Program overview

Stepping Stones is a youth mentoring program that aims to foster relationships between current Melbourne Law School students and senior secondary school students from underrepresented schools at the University of Melbourne. Stepping Stones is proudly sponsored by Herbert Smith Freehills.

The program’s objective is to encourage high school students to pursue their goals with the support of their mentors, whether they aspire to go to university, study law or pursue alternative pathways.

There will be various internal and external events throughout 2018 that allow students to both gain an insight into the university experience as well as learn about the legal world in an accepting environment, with the support of selected mentors.
