We will also hold mock interviews between students and firm representatives to allow for constructive feedback and a feel for the type of questions asked in a real interview.

Paper & Oral Competition 2009—Invitation for Submissions
We all have to submit research work during our degree, and sometimes the effort that goes into research and writing is forgotten in the focus on grades. If you have produced a written piece for a Law subject in the last 12 months of which you’re particularly proud, then the upcoming Paper & Oral Competition is designed to help you present your work to a broader audience.
In the Paper round of the competition, submissions are considered anonymously by a panel of faculty academics for structure, cohesion and originality. The strongest pieces will be put forward as into the final Oral round. Finalists present a short oral summary of their work to a panel of Minter Ellison lawyers, who select a winner based on originality of ideas, and quality of oral presentation.
